Self-sufficient families

Wu Yee collaborates with the Human Services Agency and community service partners to help those who need access to public benefits. Through these partnerships, Wu Yee helps low-income families to emerge from poverty by encouraging financial self-sufficiency and economic know-how.

Determining eligibility

We use several benefits screening tools to determine a family or individual's eligibility for a variety of benefits and tax credits. Community members can apply or receive referrals for:

Free tax services

We also offer assistance with the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the San Francisco Working Families Credit. Onsite tax preparation is available through our collaboration with the Chinese Newcomers Service Center.
